Great pleasure for our “cheese partner” Sonja and Alexander Agethle/Farm-based cheese dairy in Schleis – South Tyrol – Italy
At the annually occuring “ITALIAN CHEESE AWARD” in Bologna Englhorns’ soft cheese ARUNDA achieved the first place – and is consequently the best soft cheese in Italy!
The cows of Farm Englhorn spend the wintertime in the stable and walk on Huber rubber flooring. In the summertime they love being outside at Schleiser-Alm and are a very important supplier for the chesse from the hill farm. As soon as they are back in the stable, their milk is base for three different types of cheese: soft cheese ARUNDA, semi-hard cheese TELLA and hard cheese RIMS. The hard cheese RIMS is also in our christmas presents so.. looking forward to Christmas!
