On 28 May, we were invited by the Association of German Women Entrepreneurs (VDU) to the Tipi am Kanzleramt – a gala evening with the presentation of the ‘she succeeds award’ was on the agenda. Heidi Huber-Kamm was one of the two finalists in the Pioneer category. With the ‘she succeeds award’, the VDU honours successful family and non-family business successions in three categories and selects the trailblazer of the year who has paved the way to entrepreneurship by handing over the business to a female successor. The award is presented under the patronage of Federal Minister of Economics Dr Robert Habeck and is the first and only award that makes female succession visible.
And what can we say? Heidi Huber-Kamm has actually won! We are speechless, overjoyed and thrilled.
It was a great evening with exciting people and an incredibly good atmosphere. Many thanks to the VDU and the great laudators Franziska Brantner, Christina Ramb & Tijen Onaran as well as congratulations to the winners of the other two categories Vanessa Gosch & Linn Rose.
